Description

Dhraegon could be anything from forty to sixty in age and is a mountain of a man. He is extremely tall, and running to fat these days. His hair reaches to the back of his knees and is more white than blond. His pale lavender Targaryen eyes stare out of a ruggedly handsome face with strong jaw and cheekbones. He has a heavy brow and a fleshy, slightly Aquiline nose. Age has begun to soften his face, and there are wrinkles around his eyes and mouth.

Background

No one is entirely sure how old Uncle Dhraegon is or exactly how he is related to whom. In appearance, he could be anything from from forty to sixty. He was born to one of the lesser branches of the family and has been passed around from household to household ever since. He has long been primarily a resident of Dragonstone and Kingslanding. It is generally thought that perhaps he is the result of a few too many marriages of brother to sister. He was sort of a pet or a mascot to the Old King of fond memory, and has been often seen in the current king's court. His is generally known to be simple or perhaps daft in a childlike, harmless sort of way. He was sent to Oldtown to marry one Hightower widow, but courted and won an entirely different one, Marsei, sister to the Queen, daughter to the hand, widow of the Fossaways, and generally called "The Flower of Old Town." How the silly old codger managed to marry the most eligible widow in Oldtown is anyone's guess, and a comedic song called "The Clown and the Flower" is circulating in less reputable corners of the city, soon silenced at the approach of the watch.
