Description

A young woman who stands at five feet four inches tall. Skin of a pale alabaster is smooth and flawless where it can be seen. Hair of a light golden blonde falls in loose curls down her shoulders and back when left loose. Those golden curls reach her mid back at their longest. Thin blonde brows arch over a pair of almond shaped eyes that are the color of honey, a rich golden color. Those eyes are framed by thick curled dark lashes that flutter dramatically whenever she happens to blink. A thin and pointed nose reaches down between a pair of high set cheekbones and sits above a pair of small, full pouty lips. The shape of her face is rather angular, her jaw sloping down to a dramatic point at her chin. A long slender neck leads down to a petite body with just the right amount of curves to make her almost perfectly proportioned.

Currently her hair is left loose cascading down her shoulders and back framing her face. A circlet of made of gold and adorned with blue and gold stones is worn atop her head holding her hair in place. A dress of light blue silk with golden patterns on it is worn about her curvy figure. The neck of the dress is square cut and rather modestly cut. A necklace made to match the circlet, a spiderweb of gold and blue stones is worn about her neck resting lightly against her collarbone. The sleeves of this dress are loose but long ending just past her small wrists and revealing her small delicate hands. The dress itself is fitted at the top highlighting her figure before it loosens once it reaches past her hips and then cascades to the floor to cover her small slipper clad feet.

Background

Adelais Hightower was the daughter of a fairly close relative of Lord Hightower. She grew up the only girl with several brothers around to protect and dote on her. She was a sweet child and she excelled at singing. She also studied music and dancing but it was clear her true gift was her voice. Lais as she liked to be called had a strong sense of duty and while she was beautiful she was also rather soft-hearted and kind. At age nineteen she married a respectable lesser Lord from House Tyrell.

Lais though this would be her happy ending. Her husband was young like her but so very charming and sweet but before they could have thier first child he died in a Jousting accident. It wasn't a quick death though. They brought him in severely injured but still alive. Lais tried in vain to heal him and almost succeded however someone had switched his medicine with poison when Lais was away fora day to visit her family. The Lord died and Lais was once again a Hightower. She grieved and tried in vain to track down the one who caused her husbands death.

Lais resigned herself to being a widow and she found herself desiring children, she loved playing with them and taking care of them but she never though she would have one of her own. Slowly she returned to her former self and then another offer came to her family. An offer of marriage to House Targaryen. It was a surpise and it was not questioned why but Adelais thought it too good to be true. The man, a Prince Dhraegon was much older than her and for a time she tried to avoid meeting the man she would marry until she could avoid it no longer. She had to face her duty and hopefully…maybe she could find someone to care for or even love again.

Dhraegon

Dhraegon
Betrothed - I spent a long time avoiding him once our betrothal was announced. I wish I hadn't. He may be different but he has been nothing but kind and gentle so far. I hope that I can help him even if its just a little…that I can make him happy and less afraid of the idea of marriage. I expected to dread marrying him but after meeting him I find I cannot bring myself to hate him or even dislike him.
