Description

The Lady

A young woman with rather obvious Targaryen blood. Where it can be seen her skin is pale alabaster and without a single flaw. Silver blonde hair falls down a few inches past her shoulder and is currently pinned into a loose updo with a few strands free near her small delicate ears. Eyes of a pale violet are almond in shape with thin silvery lashes framing them. Her face is gently rounded with a short slightly upturned nose and small full lips with a rosy hue to them. Rather tall for a woman she stands at five foot nine inches with a body that is both curvy and athletic.

She wears a dress of light smoky grey silk. The color of the dress seems to highlight her pale skin and hair. The cut of the dress is fairly modest the neckline rounded and a simple necklace of silver and pale purple jewels is worn about her long slender neck before the dress itself begins. The sleeves of this dress are loose and flowing, the silk practically floating down to her delicate wrists and small danity hands. While the front of the dress is modestly cut and lightly adorned with small pale purple beading it is also form-fitting at the top hugging the curve of her breasts and hips before loosening in a fashion similar to the sleeves and floating gracefully to the ground. Underneath the flowing skirt of this dress is a pair of heeled grey slippers decorated with pale purple beads across thier toe.

The Warrior

A young woman with rather obvious Targaryen blood. Where is can be seen her skin is pale alabaster and without a single flaw. Silver blonde hair falls down a few inches past her shoulder and is pulled into a low and loose braid fastened with a black ribbon. Eyes of a pale violet are almond in shape with thin silvery lashes framing them. Her face is gently rounded with a short slightly upturned nose and small full lips with a rosy hue to them. Rather tall for a woman she stands at five foot nine inches with a body that is both curvy and athletic.

She wears a set of silvery steel half-plate polished to a shine. The armor is custom made to fit her figure and with it she carries a finely made steel sword and a shield of the same silvery polished metal as her armor. The shield is a large heavy circle of metal and bears the crest of her house, Targaryen.

Background

Faelyn Targaryen was born in Kings Landing. Her parents being close cousins of the royal line had the ability to indulge thier daughter in whatever struck her fancy. Of course the never expected Faelyn to be more interested in fighting than her brother was. She at the tender age of five demanded to learn to fight. Her father asked her what kind of fighting she would like to learn and she said she wanted to fight like a knight. This answer baffled her mother who fainted on the spot. Still Faelyn was indulged with hopes that she would give up. Faelyn was a stubborn girl who seemed to come alive as she trained her body. She was considered beautiful but that beauty was wild and untamed. She learned to wield an sword and shield, shoot a bow and ride a horse. Only through her mothers insistance did she study more lady like skills as well. Faelyn was bold daring and it became a real subject of gossip when the infamous warrior princess actually won a tournment event when she was nineteen. Under an alias she fought and stunned the crowd with her bravery and skill. Of course scadal it cuased was quite massive. Her parents decided she needed to get away from Kings Landing and so they sent her to Oldtown hoping she would settle down a bit with the help of some of her more ladylike cousins that resided there.

• Fight Like a Girl: Faelyn is currently seeking someone who can help her perfect her fighting skills. As a woman who trains like a knight might she faces a great deal of prejudice but her stubbornness and desire to prove she is as good as any man is strong. Any unorthodox knights or nobles who would like to take the Targaryen princess under their wing are welcome to seek her out and she will also do some seeking of her own.

• Men are Trouble: Faelyn is currently of age to marry and her mother and father are quite desperate to arrange a match. Faelyn herself isn't very excited about this but she isn't actively protesting it either. She has a low opinion of most men but an opportunistic bachelor might find her an enjoyable challenge to pursue.

Relationships

Ludvik The Lannister knight met Faelyn on the training grounds. His easy acceptance of her desire to fight led to Faelyn offering to spar with him and the results was a tie that left them both is good spirits. They went for a drink afterwards and Faelyn honestly likes the man so far. He seems easy going and non judgmental and having met him a few more times since then has only endeared Faelyn to him even more. He accepts her as she is and maybe he even admires her a little?

Malcolm Malcolm was visiting with Daevon when Faelyn met him. They sparred with each other and it was a fairly even match that Malcolm finally managed to win. Faelyn likes him more than she should and though he was both charming and a touch mysterious. They have spent more time with each other since then and he seems to have a talent with making Faelyn blush. She respects him a great deal both for his honor and a kindness he showed her when she was injured.

Carolis Faelyn does not really know Carolis but she still has a deep respect and gratitude for the man's kindness. If she ever gets to speak with him she will have to find a way to express her thanks. He helped her when he did not have to and Faelyn wishes she could have the chance to get to know him better.

Daevon One of Faelyn's many cousins but one Faelyn actually has interest in knowing. She has heard stories about the Maiden's Knight and while she is determined that she can save herself without help from any knight she can't help but admire Daevon's personality and accomplishments. Daevon is wise beyond his years and he helps Faelyn to see that being a knight is about more than just battles and fighting…its about protecting and holding yourself to a higher standard.

Eonn A sworn sword in Daevon's service. Faelyn hasn't spoken wit him much but he seems to be a more quiet observant type.

Kelinyx Eonn's daughter. Faelyn really likes Kelinyx so far. That the girl claimed to like her armor better than dresses was a point in the girls favor. If the girl wanted to learn to fight with a sword Faelyn could easily be persuaded to try and teach.

Laurent A brute through and through…but a skilled one. Faelyn's pride was injured worse than her body in that fight but still she did not back down. He insulted her and her House and seems to be one of those men who obviously thinks women are weak and doesn't really care to protect them either. She does not look forward to meeting Laurent again. He is no true knight in her eyes.
